Online Returns Policy

Our Online Returns Policy provides you with additional benefits in addition to your rights and remedies as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and other applicable acts.

Refund Guarantee: We guarantee to refund unworn items in sellable condition when returned within 7 days of your purchase. To qualify for a refund, please ensure that you include the original receipt and packaging. TLD SA reserves the right to assess the condition of the returned product to determine its sellability. A 15% Handling fee will be charged, if the product was ordered incorrectly and original packaging is damaged.

Return Process: To initiate a return, you can send your item back to our online store using a courier service. Please note that online exchanges are not currently available.

Refund Method and Timeframe: Refunds will be processed through an EFT payment to your bank account. Please allow 7-15 working days from the day your return is processed for the refund to be credited to your account.

Return Shipment: For your convenience and peace of mind, we recommend using a traceable courier service for returning your parcel. Until received by TLD SA, all returned parcels remain the responsibility of the purchaser. If the reason for the return is due to an error on TLD SA's part, we will cover the costs of returning the item.

Return Condition: All returned items must be unused, in perfect condition, and include the attached swing/price/warranty/care tags in their original packaging. Damaged products, personalized items, or non-saleable products cannot be accepted for return, and may be subject to a 15% handling fee if the items is accepted without correct packaging and tags.

Items Under Warranty: Items under warranty may be subject to assessment or repair if returned as faulty.

Warranty

Troy Lee Designs Helmets come with a warranty guaranteeing the absence of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from the purchase date. This warranty extends exclusively to the original purchaser and is not applicable in cases of damage caused by abuse, negligence, improper repairs, inadequate fit, modifications, alterations, or use contrary to intended purpose. TLD makes no additional express warranties or guarantees. Any warranties implied by law will be limited to a duration of ninety (60) days. TLD will not be held liable for any incidental or consequential damages.

Should you suspect a defect in your TLD product, you're welcome to send the item for a warranty evaluation within the first year of purchase. Damaged items covered by the warranty will be either repaired or replaced with a similar item, as determined by TLD. However, products found not to be covered by our warranty policy will be returned to you. Please note that the warranty becomes void when products are purchased from unauthorized vendors. Additionally, products bought internationally or from internationally based retailers are not eligible for warranty coverage within South Africa.

Delays During Busy Periods: Please note that during busy sale or promotional periods, delays in return processing may occur due to higher volumes.

Exchanges and Returns from Other Dealers: TLD SA cannot process returns or exchanges for items purchased from other motorcycle dealers' stores. To process an exchange or refund, please return the product directly to TLD SA.

Products purchased from www.troylee-designs.co.za cannot be returned to any other TLD dealer. All questions and returns must be done through TLD SA website.

Exchanges

Please note that direct exchanges are not facilitated under our process. However, should you wish to exchange an item, the procedure is straightforward. Follow the return steps outlined above to initiate a return for the item you want to exchange. Once completed, feel free to place a new order online for the replacement items you desire. By adhering to our return policy and placing a new order, you'll ensure the best service and selection for your exchange.

Online Refunds: To request a refund, please send us an email stating the reason for the exchange or refund. Wait for a response from our team confirming that you may proceed with the return before sending the item(s) back.

Return Instructions: When sending back the goods, please package them carefully to prevent damage during transit. Include the reason for return and a copy of the original invoice. Return the goods to Unit 10 High Tech Village, Superior Road, Midrand, marked for the attention of Langston Motorsports. Please note that if you choose to return the goods via this channel, all risks will be your responsibility. In the event of a lost parcel by a postal service or courier company other than our own, the sender will be responsible for resolving the issue.

Refund Process: Once our warehouse receives the original item in compliance with the Returns Policy Conditions, we will authorize the refund. The refund will be credited to your original method of payment. Please note that cash refunds will not be provided under any circumstances.

Returns Request: To initiate a returns request, please email info@langstonracing.co.za stating your intention to exchange or return a product. One of our staff members will contact you to confirm the request and provide the address for returns or exchanges.

Returns Without an Invoice: Please be aware that we cannot accept any returns or exchanges without the original purchase invoice or if the tags and packaging have been removed.
