Welcome to the Troy Lee Designs South Africa (TLD SA) website. This website is operated by TLD SA ("TLD SA," "we," or "us") and all rights are owned by Langston Racing imports & Exports cc. The website is hosted by Shopify Inc.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing any products from the TLD SA website. By making a purchase, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

TLD SA is a business in the motorcycle industry that specializes in marketing and selling motorcycle/MTB accessories, protective gear, and parts.

General Conditions

TLD SA is not responsible for any injuries or damages that may occur while using or wearing any gear, accessories, or tools purchased from us. Riders should always exercise caution and ride responsibly. Our products and services are intended as preventive measures only.

Customer Privacy Policy

TLD SA reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, edit or remove content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If an order is canceled, no charges will be incurred.

The website only sells products to individuals who can make purchases with a credit card, debit card, or through EFT payment. If you are under sixteen (16) years old, you may only use the website with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

Our Contract

When you place an order to purchase a product from the website, we will send you an email confirming receipt and containing order details. Your order serves as an offer to us to purchase a product, and we accept this offer by sending an email confirming that we have accepted the order. The contract between you and TLD SA is legally binding once we accept your order and send the confirmation email.

TLD SA retains ownership of the products until full payment has been received.

TLD SA delivers products only to locations within South Africa. If an order is placed for a delivery to a location where we do not deliver, the order will be canceled, and a refund will be issued.

Deliveries

We strive to deliver all products ordered within the specified time period mentioned in your order confirmation email.

All products purchased from the website are subject to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss for such products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. If you have received the order confirmation email but your products have not arrived within the specified time, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you. Please allow an additional day before raising a query during exceptionally busy periods (such as Black Friday, Easter, Christmas).

If your order has not been received within the specified timescales mentioned below, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.

Pricing

The availability of items featured on our website may vary. Prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. The price advertised on the product may differ due to various options within the product, and the final price will be displayed when adding the item to your shopping cart. If an item cannot be added to your cart, it is likely out of stock. Please contact us to confirm availability. Gift cards and online vouchers cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.

Pending Orders

Stock is reserved only when full payment has been made. Failure to make payment for pending orders within 5 days will result in the cancellation of your order.

Return and Refunds Policy

Returns You can only return TLD SA products purchased directly through this website.

If you are not satisfied with your products, please follow our policy for delivery, returns, exchanges, and repairs to initiate an exchange or refund. TLD SA reserves the right to reject returns that do not comply with this policy. You may be required to pay delivery charges to return such goods back to you.

You may exchange or return new, unworn, or unused products within 7 days from the date of receipt.

Please note: Your right to exchange or return products is separate from your statutory right to cancel your order under the distance selling regulations (see below).

Please note that the cost of couriering the product back to our Webstore will be incurred by the purchaser.

Statutory Right to Cancel

In addition to our returns or exchange procedure, South African customers have seven (7) working days (starting the day after receipt of the goods) to cancel a purchase order under the distance selling regulations.

These legal rights do not apply to non-South African customers.

Conditions for All Returns, Exchanges, or Statutory Right to Cancel

All goods must be returned to us unused, along with all original packaging (please ensure you take reasonable care of returned goods, as any refund may be withheld or a charge incurred if you fail to do so and damage the goods). Securely pack and seal your return package (preferably in or with the original packaging). Return packages must be prepaid.

Please do not return items without clear instructions on where to send the goods, as it may cause severe delays in processing your return.

Discrepancies

If there are any discrepancies with your order, please notify us as soon as possible. If you have received incorrect goods, please accept our apologies. Contact our management team, and we will arrange a collection of the incorrect goods. Any replacements will be sent to you at no extra cost.

Refunds

The provision of goods and services by TLD SA is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, TLD SA will refund the client in full within 7-15 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a handling fee plus an administration fee.

Refunds on Returned Products

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of its receipt.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund via EFT payment within a certain number of days, depending on your bank's policies.

Shipping Return Costs

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

All prices quoted are subject to:

  • Availability of stock.
  • Final confirmation at the time of placing the order.

Pricing and Availability

All prices on our website are quoted in Rand and include VAT unless otherwise specified. Delivery charges are not included in the item prices. Availability information for products sold on the website is provided on each product information page. While we make efforts to provide accurate availability information, we cannot guarantee availability beyond what is stated on the site. Dates mentioned are not guaranteed and should not be relied upon. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and fulfill your order. If a product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will contact you for instructions or cancel the order and inform you accordingly. Occasionally, there may be instances where a product image shows optional extra accessories or multiple color options. Please note that these items are not included in the price unless specified in the description. We strive to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions on our site and reserve the right to update information or cancel orders if needed.

Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

TLD SA will not be held responsible for any delays or failures to fulfill our obligations under these conditions if they arise from causes beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery Policy

Upon receipt of payment, we will process requests within 2-3 working days and confirm delivery through a booking number, voucher, or ID.

Accepted Payment Options

Payments can be made via Visa, MasterCard, or by bank transfer into the TLD SA bank account. The account details will be provided upon request.

Credit Card Acquiring and Security

Credit card transactions for TLD SA are acquired by EcoPay, the approved payment gateway for Your Bank or Nedbank in South Africa. Our website uses SSL3, and credit card information is securely stored according to Visa and Mastercard guidelines. Customers can view the security certificate and policy at [provide relevant link].

Customer Details Separate from Card Details

Customer details are stored separately from card details, which are entered by the client on the secure Payfast site. For more details on Payfast's privacy policy, please refer to their website.

Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency

The merchant outlet country for payment options is South Africa, and the transaction currency is ZAR (South African Rand).

Please note that our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform for our products and services. Any data used in store transactions is securely stored on Shopify's data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. When choosing a direct payment gateway, Shopify temporarily stores credit card data via an encrypted process. Once the transaction is completed, the information is automatically deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to PCI-DSS standards to ensure the secure handling of credit card information.
